3. Subscriptions & payments
- Paid plans (First Mate, Captain) are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
- Prices are shown in the app and may change with notice.
- You can cancel anytime from Plans & Billing; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: breaking the law, infringing others' rights, uploading harmful content, attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorised access, or using the Service to send spam.
5. Engineers & third-party services
SkAIpper helps owners and engineers connect and communicate. We are not a party to any agreement between an owner and an engineer, and we are not responsible for the quality, safety or legality of work arranged through the Service. Always verify credentials and agree terms directly.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you upload (e.g. boat details, documents, manuals). You grant us a licence to host and process it solely to operate the Service.
7. Compliance information disclaimer
SkAIpper provides reminders and tools to help you track requirements such as BSS, insurance and licensing. You remain responsible for meeting all legal obligations for your boat. We do not guarantee that the information is complete or up to date, and it is not legal advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from your failure to meet legal obligations for your boat. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
